Within the last year, many folks have approached me asking me about my perspective, and the perspective of A Course in Miracles, on the favorite book and film The Secret. I was also recently asked to take part in a professional panel discussion on The Secret and the law of attraction at the Body Soul Spirit Expo in Calgary.
As I see it, The Secret offers a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating.
The first message is which our thoughts have a strong influence on our life. Another insight is that we are entitled to a rich life, although true wealth is much more than cash and “toys.” Instead, it involves feeling fulfilled in most regions of life, including our relationships, career, and health. What we must do is look within to find out if, actually, we feel worth authentic wealth.
Another message that is subtly conveyed in The Secret, and one which I think to be true, is that whenever we have a heartfelt desire and we say yes to doing our part to manifest the desire, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces come alive.
On the flip side, I feel the proven fact that more “toys” in the shape of cars, houses, jet planes, and boats could make us happy and would be the demonstration of our capacity to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for a lot of people that are already “bankrupt” in the regions of self-love and self-appreciation un curso de milagros. The issue with this particular picture is that the desire to possess often originates from a sense of lack rather than a feeling of completeness. And as a result of this, whatever we gain assured of feeling “full,” whole, happy, or accomplished, will inevitably not work, since we feel a void internally.
The stark reality is that we are not empty, but already full, and whenever we understand and feel this to be our new reality, then your outer world begins to “echo” our inner awareness.
A Course in Miracles reminds us that to the amount that we can accept and be truly grateful for the inheritance to be an unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we will attract to ourselves an ideal outward expressions of our claimed inner worth. This reclaiming of our authentic Self will miraculously bring into manifestation any material items that will serve the higher good of both our life and of the around us, and yet we will feel no dependency upon them for the happiness.
So, if you intend to know and live the Real Secret, find your Authentic Self, reclaim it-and your real inheritance will follow.
